mainly music

mainly music is relaxed, informal and fun, suitable for children from about 6 months to 5 years old. We sing a variety of songs which are fun and also help your child's development, improving motor skills, body awareness, rhythm and confidence. For some songs we use props such as beanbags, shakers or a parachute. 

We're there each Wednesday morning during school term time at Te Whare Manaaki - The Welcome Place, next to the church at 20 James Street.

Our music session starts at 9.30 so please arrive before then if you can - there are lots of toys for the children to play with! After music it's morning tea time for children and mums/dads/grandparents/caregivers, and then the toys come out again so you can chat while your children play. Do come and join us!
